About Jaye

It’s simple, I love to play with fabrics and I find window treatments really interesting: the fabric composition, the technical construction and how the right fabric in the right style can affect the whole atmosphere of a room. I have been sewing since childhood and fabricating home furnishings professionally since 1992. I have taught classes on how to make window treatments and home accessories in the Maplewood/South Orange and Florham Park adult schools. In order to hone my own technical skills, I have attended several educational conferences sponsored by industry professionals and am a member of the Window Coverings Association of America and the Workroom Association of America.

I began by making window treatments using fabric provided by my customers, working with each one to make their vision a reality. Today, I offer the same creative service but also provide convenience by carrying fabric and trim, hardware and hard window treatments—including natural woven shades, blinds, cellular/solar shades and shutters. My most important products, however, are my experience, expertise and personal service. I work with each of my clients from start to finish—from the design idea, fabric/trim/hardware choices, fabrication through installation—and personally see to every aspect of every job. My goal is to assure that your ideas and my expertise come together to make your home just right for you.
